Be a Maker on the Douglas Kinetic Sculpture

The Be a Maker guys along with the help of Maggie, the Be a Maker intern, started to assemble the kid's acorns onto the Douglas Sculpture hanging in our atrium of the museum. This has been almost a year in the works and is a collaboration between the Be a Maker staff along with some of the members of the Milwaukee Makerspace.

Stay tuned, and check out more cool things going on at the museum at:http://www.makermke.org/!

At one of the previous Neighborhood Nights, kids were invited to create acorns from cardboard and draw and color on them. They all are like snowflakes, each and every one of them is unique!

The cardboard tubes above Bill's head were also decorated by kids at another evening with a 'marbling' technique that Bill invented.
