This past weekend I asked my Dad to help and attach the new tires that I purchased onto my bandsaw project. I tried days ago, but just simply could not get the tire stretched far enough. One side would be on and just as I inched my fingers across the halfway mark, the tire would slip off.
Very Frustrating.
The Urethane needed to be heated up to 160 degrees to loosen up and become malleable enough to stretch around the 14 in wheel.
It took my Dad holding the tire in place while I slowly inched my way around the blade in order to get the tire to fit, but we finally got it.
All Done! Next up to install the bandsaw blade and motor and see how it runs!
