Printing a New X-Carriage

I am so close to finishing my 3d (and hopefully final) Prusa i2 but all that it is missing is a X-carriage that will fit the nozzle that I purchased for it. Luckily thats whats great about 3D printers, as long as you know someone with a 3d printer or own one yourself, you can just print the part that you need.

And in just about an hour, you have yourself a new piece!

This print took about 1 hour 20 minutes and was printed 80% infill, 0.4 mm layer height in PLA plastic.

I have a box of printer parts on my desk to keep it clean and not littered with various m3, m5, and m8 hardware. I found just enough m3 nuts to heat sink into the carriage to attach the linear bearings and belt clamps.

All set, ready to install onto the new printer!
