Grind - stone

GrindstoneMKE.blogspot.com evolved after graduating from college and missing the stimulation of new exciting projects that challenged and tested your skills. Grindstone will provide readers with a challenge, or platform to design a tool to add to the workshop every month. At the end of every month Grindstone would like to invite readers to send me pictures of their tools, art objects, successes and failures--designed after that month's prompt.
And for February, Grindstone will challenge you to design a screwdriver. Push the boundaries of what is possible, don't settle for known materials and processes. Experiment with materials unique or rare, metal, ceramic, concrete, wood, fabric, found objects, anything is fair game. Think about the purpose of the screwdriver and how can it be modified to satisfy the following definition, "a tool with a flattened, cross-shaped, or star-shaped tip that fits into the head of a screw to turn it."
