Bow ties, bow ties, and more bow ties.
I just have to keep making them for Sedrick and his booming wood accessory company. The above bow ties are made from purple heart. And just the beginning of my process. All the bow ties that I make for him are initially cut from 1/4" wood, then using a 1/8" round over bit I round the corners for a more finished look.
All of my bow ties I then sand so that they are smooth to the touch. The final step is to use a mix of Vitamin E oil, bees wax, Carnuba wax to seal the wood and give them a matte finish.
