Last week was MakeShift: Night Lights at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. At this event there was lampshade making, learn to solder projects, jenga, fire cannon, and so much more!
Pete manned the "Learn to Solder" station. Every guest was able to learn their way around a soldering iron to make their own LED pin.
I was busy running around taking pictures of the event and running the lampshade area which was popular throughout the night.
I am very proud of my 5 minute sketch.
Our friends Stacie and Eric had some extra sunflowers that they grew and brought them for our guests. Thank you Stacie and Eric!
Bill was busy tending to the cobb oven as well as sharing his wisdom of Wisconsin gardening with any interested guests.
Lifesize jenga was a crowd favorite, especially because the fire cannon was positioned directly behind the game area. If you really wanted to mess with your friends just press the button before their turn and-BOOM!
Food was provided by the BBCM. Who would have thought that quesadillas would be so popular.
Stacie was making sure everyone had a beverage and was fed. Thank you Stacie!
It was a full house in the BAM space!
It takes tremendous focus to solder, thanks for all your help Pete!
Maker Space members approve!
All and all it was a beautiful night at the museum.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for coming to the event! It was great to see you all, hope to see you at the next one.
Stay tuned!
