There is a special bond you develop with your first bike and the bond shared between Yvette and her Kawasaki KS125 is undeniable. In fact the we went out to go rip around, I offered my bikes instead of her own motorcycle that was missing the gas tank, and she declined to ride HER bike only.
The Kawasaki KS125 is a 125cc two stroke motorcycle with direct oil injection. It is small enough to get your leg over with both feet firmly planted on the ground but still packs a lot of power to get you around the track.
I love riding this bike, almost more than my other bikes because you can lean it down and its light enough to pick up after a tumble.
Yvette rides across the field of the MX track wide open in third gear and drops it into second before hitting the whoop section.
Yvette had a blast and looked like a natural out on the flat track and the mx track. I am very proud of her for sticking with it after she hurt her wrist. She could have quit right there and given it up, but instead she decided to get back on it.
Ride safe and stay tuned!
